Job Description
Basic Function:
- Actively managing the planning, implementation, and improvement of business continuity and disaster recovery systems based upon established direction and priorities of the company.
- Fully understand, drive and promote company's vision, culture and values.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and maintaining business continuity and disaster response plans to facilitate the recovery of specific critical processes and applications in the event of a significant business disruption.
- Assesses both financial and non-financial impacts of a critical process or application on the critical business units by initiating and maintaining a Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
- Develops or assists in developing and maintaining an enterprise wide Pandemic Plan, to address crisis management response triggers.
- Develops and maintains an enterprise wide Crisis Management framework, to include mass notification system, Crisis Management Teams, and Emergency Operational Centers.
- Plans, conducts and maintains Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
- Performs risk analysis for business areas to identify points of vulnerability and recommend crisis business disruptions and reduction strategies.
- Provides guidance to critical business units and coordinates the development of business resumption and disaster recovery plans throughout the enterprise.
- Establishes crisis recovery testing methodologies; plans and coordinates the testing of recovery support and business resumption procedures in different functional areas to ensure the recovery procedures are effective.
- Conducts business continuity and disaster recovery training for stakeholders in all priority business areas
- Develops enterprise wide emergency response & crisis management procedures; publishes & updates procedures to reflect changes in staff, location, & organization.
- Assists recovery support and business resumption staff during a crisis in the implementation of response and business resumption and operating strategies.
- Perform other duties as required in support of company and departmental objectives.
- Prepare regular reports and metrics for Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Systems.
- Coordinate and Participate in the departmental EHS system activities including hazard identification, safety awareness and procedures implementation, waste management, environmental aspects identification, and EHS audits
- Actively participates in the development and implementation of EHS objectives & programs
- Participates in the emergency response plan
- Actively participates in the EHS audits/inspections. Take a major role in incident reporting & investigation
- Coordinate and participate in the paper and other recycling programs
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or other related field.
- 2+ years of functional/professional experience in business continuity Information technology and/or financial institutions / Administrative/Technical Skills/ Other Information
- Excellent command of both written & spoken English language.
- Knowledge in Safety (including fire fighting) and environmental management systems and equipment
- Knowledge in First Aid
- Awareness of Safety & Environmental Management principles
- Competence in Safety and Environmental Management, EHS Management system, Technical training courses in Risk assessment, Knowledge of Root cause analysis, and environmental / waste management
