Job Description

  • Lead and manage overall activities in Clinical Marketing.
  • Develop and build relationship in the medical community at all levels to drive and promote portfolio of clinical value parameters to facilitate successful growth.
  • Fully implement a strategic business plan for the development of Clinical Marketing Assays.
  • Promote and establish network of endorsers in the medical community to further facilitate acceptance to drive demand for tests.
  • Implementation and development of all related supportive materials to aid country to position and market our Clinical Value parameters.

Essential Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

  • Develop and maintain contacts with key opinion leaders in the medical community including specialist and in other fields or market segments RD is interested in to drive demand.
  • Strong and effective rapport with KOLs, pool of speakers and leaders of relevant medical societies.
  • Ensure Clinical Marketing programs are developed and executed accordingly.
  • Product launch planning with PM/MM
  • Conduct product presentation for the assigned product portfolio
  • Facilitate with PM/MM customer education (Seminar, RTDs, Symposia, Congresses, trade exhibits)
  • Implement a Clinical Marketing Plan for each assay that is part of Clinical Value Marketing.
  • Adapt global or regional strategies to local needs to maximize product potential.
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of scientific/clinical data and literature related to relevant product, competitor products, diseases areas, and effectively transfers appropriate clinical/ scientific information to external customers or key BA personnel for business-related or educational purposes.
  • Integral involvement in the generation and provision of business support information, including key competitor monitoring, market information for assigned product (sizing, share and trends), and fact bases to support business decision making in this market segment.
  • Identify new opportunities by evaluating clinical business trend
  • Market trends and sales performance of the products analyzed on a monthly basis and communicated to the key stakeholders.
  • Establish clinical marketing plan in accordance to the budget set and approved by Marketing Manager
  • Consult with MM on the financial targets
  • Work with MM in the monitoring and analysis of product performance against plan
  • Training and Education
  • Educate and train sales team for medical and scientific knowledge of the product
  • Introduction of new & strategic products to customers (focus products and products relevant to local market)
  • Provide scientific articles and product updates both internally and externally
  • Communication with Regional and/or Global and Marketing Support Team
  • Active participation in sales and marketing training.
  • Prepare and submit all required reports in a timely manner.
  • Carry out special projects when required from time to time.
  • Manage marketing budget with PM/MM in accordance with the financial plans.
  • Adhere to all relevant internal and external guidelines and policies.

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health/Science/Marketing disciplines
  • Experience in product management from Diagnostics or Medical Device industry is an added advantage.
  • Contacts and Versatility in medical community.
