Job Description
- Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.
- Communicate with customers, competitors, suppliers, professional organizations, or others to stay abreast of industry or business trends.
- Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users.
- Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources.
- Identify and analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications.
- Analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve sales of existing products.
- Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Identify or monitor current and potential customers, using business intelligence tools.
- Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods.
- Maintain library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets.
- Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.
Job Requirements
- BSc in Technology, Software Engineering, Communications or Computer Science.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in MS Azure DWH and BI is required.
- Excellent command of English is a must.
- Adaptive, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn new technology and quickly adapt to technology changes
- Proactive and self-motivated
- International mindset and working with remote team
- Strong understanding of ETL, data structures and data flow.
- Proven experience with developing, architecting and deploying data warehouse solutions
- Solid understanding of data warehouse development standards and best practices
- Extensive experience working with various data sources (SQL and Oracle database, flat files (csv, delimited), Web API, XML, EDI
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI is plus.
- Advanced T-SQL skills required.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and business data; ability to write complex SQL queries against a variety of data sources (OLTP, Data Warehouse)
