Job Description
- The mission of a Senior Backend Developer is to plan and execute test-driven development across the entire product, as well as maintaining a degree of product quality through routine maintenance and performance monitoring of the site.
- The Senior Backend Developer will also assist the junior developers with their tasks and help the whole team learn and grow.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a professional Senior Ruby on Rails role
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, RSpec, and Sidekiq
- Experience in continuous integration
- Solid understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience with Agile Methodology or Scrum.
- Have worked with some or all of these technologies before: React, Firebase, jQuery, Bootstrap, ActionCable.
- Experience with coding bootcamps or online education is preferable.
- Knowledge of BigQuery
