Job Description
- Budgeting, forecasting , and achieving Sales and Margin targets.
- Analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends. - Regularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales, prices and discount levels.
- Designing price structures within the category according to market trends & competition.
- Managing plans for stock levels & ensure supply meets demand while closely monitoring inventory and aging levels.
- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products.
- Negotiating terms of contract to maximize benefits to include margins, payment terms, product range, stock levels, Stock rotations and marketing promotions.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure business processes are completed effectively.
- Working closely with the Marketing team to plan weekly/monthly promotional activities.
- Attending trade fairs, and events keep up to market trends and to select and assemble a new collection of products.
- Keeping up to date on industry competition and responding to market trends & changes.
