- Guide the team and organization on how to use scrum & other agile practices and methodologies in order to facilitate efficient delivery of projects
- Oversee scrum process and coaches the team; facilitates transparency, inspection and adaptation
- Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings in a way that ensures full team engagement
- Support Product Owners and teams in backlog grooming and release planning
- Ensures that the development processes and deliverables fulfill the requirements in-line with products’ vision
- Remove and escalate impediments and shields the team from external distractions
- Promote and foster effective communication between stakeholders in order to enhance productivity
- Foster close cooperation across all team members, encourage cross-training and supporting each other
- Highlight and escalate any project risks in a timely manner to ensure resolution
Job Requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory. (Adjust based on your necessity)
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of CI, CD, TDD and effective pairing Experience as a Coach and/or Consultant to technology organizations
- Expert knowledge in planning monthly reviews and planning sessions with multiple scrum teams and respective product stakeholders
- Working experience in Managing project scope, risks, issues, constraints and dependencies
- Excellent English is a MUST
