Job Description
- Responsible for following up all farming activities including planting, irrigation, and harvesting.
- Traveling to the different agricultural sites for follow-up and coordination.
- Preparing daily activity Progress Reports for each farming site.
- Follow-up the execution of the irrigation, fertilization and pesticides program.
- Manage and follow up the harvested crops from harvesting to storage to packing and till delivery to the customers.
- Following up the right execution of planting for the transplants.
- Manage and follow up the nurseries from seeds to transplant and till delivery to the farming site.
- Investigate the different agricultural sites and analyze available water and land to assure suitability for planting.
- Analyzing water and soil samples.
- Selecting the right variety of seeds suitable for each planting site
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering .
- Five years experience in planting potato and onion under pivotal irrigation .
- Ability to prepare crop management programs .
- Experience of all irrigation programs, fertilizers, chemicals and control programs .
- Experience of controlling & treatment of fungal and insect diseases, weed control .
- Experience of agricultural equipment for potatoes and onions .
- English language spoken & writing .
- Leading of groups & communicant skills
- Driving license.
- Military status : completed or exempt.
