Job Description
Senior Client Relations Executive
Position Profile
- Senior Client Relations Executive serves as a primary day-to-day client contact. S/He provides support to multiple accounts, and manage workflow and information vis-à-vis account team.
- Senior Client Relations Executive must maintain a thorough understanding of clients’ business and industry, and have a capacity to translate such knowledge into solid public relations practices.
- Senior Client Relations Executive is expected to primarily focus on developing their proficiency and the necessary skills to become a successful PR professional.
Primary Responsibilities
Client
- Serve as key day-to-day client contact
- Manage multiple projects for various clients from concept to completion on time
- Proactively generates new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success
- Provide client counsel on tactical matters, linked to strategic plans
- Conduct and manage the flow of research necessary to analyze client issues
- Participate in client meetings
- Develop client presentations
- Send contact reports within 24 hours from the meeting
- Send client weekly report every Thursday
- Keep track of status report for all clients
- Make sure to follow the accounting system for any quotation or invoice.
- Supervise and coordinate with media department, visual comm., and production to meet client requirements
- Develop deep knowledge of and participate in events
- Manage external vendors and suppliers
- Read client daily clippings and take notes of all important issues
- Draft media relations invitations
- Generate story ideas and topic angles
- Understand industry issues that directly and indirectly affect the client
- Counsel clients and provide feedback
- Develop closeout reports
Writing
- Develop proposals, plans and relevant reporting documents;
- Develop releases, customer profiles, and other press materials
- Write and edit client related documents as needed (presentations, copy of promotional material etc.)
- Contribute to the development of strategic client plans
Team Participation
- Serve as a role model to other team members
- Contribute to work plan of junior team members
- Train junior team members on public relations tactics
- Actively participate in agency development and assist with new business
- Continually update manager on progress of activities
- Talk intelligently about agency at internal and external meeting and industry functions
- Attend agency staff meetings and group meetings
Administrative Support
- Cross-reference, approve, and forward invoices to the Accounting Department
- Supervise reports on monthly client billing process
- Track/enter time with precision and on a day-to-day basis
- Assist in account budgeting recommendations

Education
- Bachelor's Degree
Professional Experience
- 3 - 6 years related professional experience
