Data Integration, API, Architecture Engineer

Position summary:

• This position is responsible to lead the architecture and enabling technologies strategy for data enablement to and from the manufacturing environment. Focus on solving complex business problems by designing and developing reusable and scalable API and middleware solutions for multiple platforms.
• As a Data Integration, API, Architecture Engineer Connected Worker Analyst you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a standard architecture to support data exchange and integration of many systems supporting manufacturing. Industry standards should be applied with a focus on building a reusable and scalable methodology.
• A sense of urgency and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential for success in this role. You need to be self-motivated and driven with a result focus.

Primary responsibilities:

• Lead the solution architecture and design of digital industrial programs, from ideation through implementation.
• Performs evaluations of technology standards, tools/products and solutions to make rational design decisions from both a business and technical perspective.
• Oversee API strategy for managing multiple data sources in industrial application space, including but not limited to cloud-based applications and apps.
• Steers architectural strategy as technology evolves, with an emphasis on reusable and scalable solutions.
• Defined the conceptual, logical and physical design for API-based and other reusable and scalable integration solutions.
• Documents integration techniques and standard procedures and protocols.
• Works with business units, application developers, security, and infrastructure engineering to design and build application integration.
