Job Description

  • The Regional Program Coordinator will work closely with the water and sanitation companies and all other relevant project entities.

Responsibilities:-

  • Ensure that program activities are being performed adequately, on schedule and in accordance with contractual documents,
  • Be the principle focal point of contract(s) between regional water and sanitation company and the PMC head office team in Cairo
  • Assist regional water and sanitation company in the Day-to-day implementation of the program
  • Provide necessary coordination and guidance on all matters pertaining to the smooth implantation of the program.
  • Follow up the Program Construction/Procurement plan and the implementation of the Health and Safety Plan.
  • Responsible for collecting and verifying all required data at the regional level in coordination with the client Development unit and regional water and sanitation company
  • Liaise with regional water and sanitation company and client development unit to assure complete coordination for tender processes
  • Monitor all deliverables of consulting services on a regular basis and provide necessary feedback to the PMC head office team in Cairo, client Development unit and regional water and Sanitation Company on timely basis.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the overall progress of all activities at the regional level and take the necessary corrective actions in timely manner in close coordination with PMC head office team in Cairo and client Development unit to assure the completion of works in due to time and according to the results framework of the Program and the approved work plan budget

Job Requirements

  • The Regional Program Coordinator who will be based in Menofia Governorate should have an engineering degree with minimum of 20 years of experience in designing public infrastructure works with emphasis on infrastructure works in rural areas with at least 10 years of experience in procurement and contract management.
  • The Regional Program Coordinator should be fluent in Arabic and English and holds experience in designing and executing public infrastructure works, development of wastewater working plans project and financial management leading and managing large Multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Have the capacity of building/training experience.
  • Familiarity with engineering laws, regulations and codes and procurement regulations and guidelines in Egypt. Under the Program Manager.
