Job Description
- Partnering with the Finance controller and the finance shared services team in all month-end closing activities to ensure accuracy and timely submission of the company financial statements
- Accounts Receivables: Responsible for managing AR including a collection of cheques, review of debit and credit notes from distributors, reconciliation of collections vs. outstanding balances, communication with distributors.
- Support in any ad-hoc requests related to JDE forms creation, vendors creation or system updates
- Accounts payables: a review of invoices on a selective basis before being communicated to the shared services team for processing and supporting in all month-end closing activities.
- Tax, VAT and Customs duties: a review of documents pertaining to custom duty, liaising with the shared service team for timely payment.
- Month-end accruals: Prepare the month-end closing accruals for relevant expenses e.g. Gross to Net, advertisement accruals, inventory provisions, bad debt provisions, accruals for miscellaneous expenses.
- Cash Flow and Working Capital planning: Support the shared services team in cash flow preparation by providing all required data on collections and payables and providing insights on the forecasted cash flow
- Inventory Management: Providing proactive supervision on the stock levels, owning the financial control over the warehouses and support the business in the physical stock count exercise.
- Audit and assurance: Supporting the Finance controller and the shared services team in the discussions with Internal/External Auditors, provide documents for timely closure of internal and statutory audits.
- Support the FC in managing compliance requirements and risks assessments (Commercial Hygiene, GM enterprise risk confirmation, BS reconciliation, etc) upon request
Job Requirements
