Job Description
Purpose of Position:
- The talented Developer will work on Point of Sale (POS) system and he will responsible for technical development, creation, maintenance and operations of the POS and other storage systems.
- The POS Developer will analyze requirements, propose solutions as well as supporting day-to-day operations of store systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, deploy and maintain POS solutions that help the business achieve goals and objectives
- Design, implement and enforce coding standards
- Work cooperatively with key business stakeholders and cross-functional teams do deliver value-added technology solutions
- Assist in recommending, implementing and improving IT development process(es)
- Interpret business requirements into actionable development tasks
- Provide systems integration leadership and support
- Design solutions to fit business objectives in the capacity of a UI Developer Lead Designer-Developer
- Convert abstract business ideas into technical architectures, designs, and implementations
- Optimize and streamline the business process with technical solutions
- Develop and Deploy the application using an organization’s technology practices, standards, and procedures
- Assist with audits on POS clients and servers at each site. Review the configuration files, resilient database, and perform testing on each POS
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Understanding of Programming design patterns
- Knowledge of coding security/compliance best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with relevant technologies including:
- Experience with C# - is must
- Understanding .Net Framework - is must
- Experience with WPF - is must
- Experience with WCF (MSMQ) - is must
- Understanding .Net Core - preferred
- Windows Operation System - is must
- SQL Server Database Development and Administration - is must
- SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) - is must
- Work with MVC methodology - is must
- IIS - preferred
- ASP .Net - preferred
- Work with terminal devices like (bar code, terminal printer, cash drawer, fingerprint ) - is must
- Experience with Agile Methodology and tools (Jira)
- Strong problem solving and technical troubleshooting abilities
- Proven knowledge of code repositories, branching and deployment strategies, and best practices
- A keen interest in emerging technologies and how they might impact future design decisions and strategic directions
- Vision for Overall Point of Sale architecture - preferred
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field required
- A minimum of 5 years of development experience required, preferably in a retail environment
