Job Description

  • Maintain proper records to ensure GL balance match with the sub-ledgers
  • Manage GL function ensuring the preparation and accurate recording of all necessary accounting entries
  • Reviewing and posting all journal vouchers to ensure their accuracy
  • Exercises required controls on all departmental data to meet the highest levels of accuracy and reliability
  • Direct maintenance of fixed assets records, related depreciation accounts and provides interpretive assistance as to the proper capitalization/expensing of outlays and grouping of fixed assets to ensure consistency in accounting year over year
  • Monitor and manage the bank facilities and its renewal and manage the banking relationship
  • Overseas the monthly physical verification reports/procedures to ensure physical inventory of stock matches with the inventory register and make adjustments entries as appropriate
  • initiates and overseas the completion of the month and year-end accounts finalization procedures
  • P- Preparation of financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes
  • Provide auditors with the necessary information and explanations
  • Monitor the financial performance of the AR & AP section
  • Monitor existing accounting policies, procedures and systems, assist development and implement new accounting systems and procedures to meet the changing requirements and anticipated future needs of business
  • Monitor the accounting and finance files
  • Oversees all aspects of accounting receivables system

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • 10+ Years of Experience.
  • Excellent Command in English.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • CMA Holder is a must
  • Experience with accounting software Microsoft AX.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately, including percentages, fractions, decimals, and simple mathematical formulae.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to organize complex information neatly and accurately.
  • Ability to compose original correspondence, write reports, have effective interaction with people.
  • Ability to operate computer equipment, business equipment and other general office equipment.
