Job Description

On behalf of our client - a leading FMCG Distributor in KSA - is looking for Trade marketing manager responsible for local brand development and selling to companies who can then distribute to their customers. Their target audience will include distributors and retailers who can get the product in front of consumers. Some everyday tasks in the position include developing and implementing well thought out marketing strategies, like product launches and loyalty programs, that increase success rate and brand perception.

Based on Market insight, Sales analysis Trade marketing will be helping to develop the annual activity calendar across all channels and implement the push/pull drives to reach the desired growth.

  • To get incremental activation budget and negotiate with the management team to obtain the budget based on market logic.
  • Prepare trade promotional plan in designated channels with crucial customers.
  • Provide marketing assistance to sales team through answering clients and product inquiries.
  • Prepare trade promotion plans with main customers.
  • Develop, supervise and improve procedures to link entire marketing activities with sales team activities.
  • Determine and manage the Clients Support budget.
  • Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget.
  • Developing a business strategic presence by working closely with the Category Manager and Key accounts Managers in setting up a monthly, quarterly, and annually business plan.
  • Negotiating and finalizing annual business development agreements for each Key account
  • Developing Key accounts business relationships at all levels.
  • Develop marketing strategies aligned with the brand strategy
  • Act as the key liaison between product development and buyers
  • Maintain customer relationships for future purchases
  • Report on individual Key Account performance
  • Cultivate programs that ensure products sell in-store

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or sales.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in trade marketing. similar role.
  • Languages: Arabic and English. Other languages will be a plus
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications with emphasis on advanced Excel.
  • Strong Negotiation Skills.
