Job Description
- Work escalated support issues related to Microsoft’s core business solutions
- Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agent scripts, respond to alerts, monitor dashboard, and periodic system review
- Document maintenance for all computer systems and system infrastructure
- Communication with clients as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
- Windows Server 2003 – 2016
- Windows 2008R2, 2012R2 &2016 implementation, administration and monitoring.
- SAN/NAS storage administration
- Define and administer all aspects of multiple Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2, 2016 Active Directory environments
- Perform AD Site, Organizational Unit (OU), Users and Groups, and Group Policy management
- Perform daily system monitoring, verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Administration and monitoring Symantec NetBackup and Veem backup or equivalent
- Administration and monitoring file server.
- Exchange Server 2003 – 2016
- Administrating and configuring SharePoint 2016
- Administrating Antivirus server on the HQ and branches.
- OS troubleshooting
- Security software such as Anti-virus, Anti-SPAM, Anti-Spyware, and other security-related technologies
- Be available for other engineers and coach them to resolution
- Continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies
- Desire to work alongside the team to help design information and operational support systems
- Consistently and successfully provide 2nd and 3rd level support
Job Requirements
- The Systems Engineer will have a bachelor’s degree and 7 to 10 years of System Engineering experience (county government preferred)
- Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
- Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Having the certificates Microsoft MCSA and MCSE
- Real experience with ticket and service management systems.
- Understand service management and working with the ticking systems
- Communication as a liaison with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve issues
- Multisite VMware, vSphere&vCenter management and administration. Solid Experience in VMware vSphere6.5.x, 6.x.
- Good Knowledge in Cisco UCS Servers and HX.
- Good Knowledge in Vmware Horizon VDI and View
- Good Knowledge in Shared Storage Technology.
