Job Description
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving.
- Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
- Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
- Confer with supply chain planner to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
- Manage the Analysis of inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
- Manage the Negotiation of prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
- Monitor suppliers' activities to assess performance in meeting quality or delivery requirements.
- Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.
- Design, implement, or oversee product take back or reverse logistics programs to ensure products are recycled, reused, or responsibly disposed.
- Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
- Supports proper utilization of ERP system
- Responsible to routinely report on department KPIs along with appropriate analysis and countermeasures where necessary.
- Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Mange the Determination of appropriate equipment and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
Job Requirements
- University Graduate, with preference to Engineering or Agriculture Studies
- 8 + Years of Experience in Supply Chain Functions.
- Excellent Level of English language is a Must
- Understanding of Vendors, Customer and Market dynamics and requirements.
- Proven Managerial experience more than 2 years.
