E-learning is keeping up with the fast-paced world that we are living in. Almentor raised $8M in seed and Series A funds.

Almentor.net is seeking to hire a Business Development Manager (BDM) . The BDM is the first point of contact a new potential client will have with a business when they are seeking information on the products and services the company provides. The BDM responds to RFP's, tenders, and develops sales in new sales territories.

The business development manager position requires someone who is self-motivated, capable of making sound judgments under pressure, able to establish a rapport with clients, subordinates and upper management and an excellent presenter.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing partnership agreements.
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Co-Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Maintaining the CRM system.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience in engineering, information systems, or business administration.
  • 4 - 5 years' prior industry-related business development experience
  • Experience in online learning is preferable.
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in the publishing industry is preferable.
  • Fluent French Language (Spoken & written).
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Representing the company in a professional manner and build good relationships with clients to the company’s benefit.
