Job Description

Summary:

Responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic duties in establishing procurement strategies for acquisition, receiving and tracking of all projects and events’ materials.
  • Integrate procurement in the projects management process and project teams at an early stage.
  • Participate in projects/marketing meetings as project core team member to exert a shaping influence at an early stage to optimize internal workflows and processes.
  • Work collaboratively with projects management, operations and marketing teams to coordinate supplier selection, credit and terms, track supplier performance standards, and conduct ongoing evaluation
  • Prepare, maintain and review purchasing records, produce management reports, track the status of requisitions, contracts and orders, approve bills for payment, calculate the cost of orders, assign invoices to the appropriate accounts, and monitor in-house inventory transfer for projects and events consumption.
  • Monitor all procurement activities for all projects and events like construction, marketing, branding, printing materials, catalogues, banners.
  • Establish proper sourcing processes and control all procurement resources and activities in all projects and informing all involved in procurement to deliver optimum impact of cost-cutting potential (Procurement plan, target-costing) and other procurement targets and to meet requirements relating to deadlines and quality.
  • Head up contractual and price negotiations and/or support the specialist buyers responsible for particular material fields to secure project targets with optimum conditions.
  • Clarify internal indicators for projects controlling and compiling all relevant information to submit qualified reports (e.g. for the project team, executive management).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 5-7 Years of Experience in the same position

Computer Skills:

  • Excellent use of Microsoft office
  • Familiar with data base engines and tools

Languages:

  • Advanced English (Business English)
