Job Description

  • Responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for MT key accounts in accordance with the sales target and forecasts.
  • Work with the UAE commercial director to ensure that the MT strategy is coherent with the total country strategy and that it results in sustainable profitable growth and market share gain. In parallel, work with the business development and marketing teams to develop the MT strategy that supports our brand objectives.
  • Full ownership of the MT P&L down to profitability ensuring the strategy set is translated in to an agreed financial model internally. Controlling all costs within the P&L - planning, tracking and evaluation to ensure yearly and monthly targets are met in terms of sell in and budget spending.
  • Be the strategic lead for the sales force dedicated for the MT channel to achieve the sales, distribution and visibility targets of company portfolio while enhancing the "go to market" approach.
  • Organize, control and motivate team in order to achieve and exceed objectives in terms of revenue, market share and market penetration by implementing the MT strategy, and recommending programs for business improvement in MT.
  • Co-ordinates with the KAMs to ensure end-to-end management of KAs from development of sales forecasts to in-market excellence in execution.
  • Lead the development of effective and collaborative client relationships with a clear contact strategy.
  • Closely monitor the field execution and the sales force performance against the sales targets and requested sales fundamentals through management and coordination with KAMs to ensure KAEs and Sales Reps execute the sales strategy for KAs in line with the target.

Job Requirements

Education Bachelor/Masters Degree

Number of Years Experience 10+

Essential Experience Proven experience as Modern Trade Channel Manager, minimum 3 years of professional experience at this level with successful track record in related industry.

Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge

  • Good managerial skills, ability to lead and inspire teams of commercial KAMs and field sales and ensure cross functional team communication and collaboration in order to achieve the strongest possible MT plan.
  • Knowledge and experience of the MT channel commercial approach, trends, processes and procedures.
  • Strong customer relationships abilities and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and preferably Arabic.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships.
  • Good analytical skills and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Goal oriented, ability in problem-solving, good management of strategic vs. operational priorities.
  • Creative, providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Ambitious, target oriented person with excellent capabilities to perform under stress.
  • Awareness of responsibility, reliable and trustworthy personality.
