Job Description
- Review Contract Specifications and drawings identify product criteria and prepare required checklist for inspection and testing.
- Monitor work in progress for compliance with specification and design / shop drawings; report any non-compliance using standard procedures to quality manager for necessary actions. Aim for defect / non-compliance free product
- Review methods of statements, ITP, Safety plan and quality plan of contractors as initial approval.
- Coordinate Inspection and test activities in accordance with relevant inspection test plan.
- Monitor status of inspection and follow up on actions for resubmission, ensuring all required actions are completed prior to re-submission
- Monitor and the quality of construction material received and report to Head manager any deviations from specified requirement.
- Perform materials receiving inspection / test to verify compliance with the requirements of Specification and / or approved submittal. Report non-compliance via the use of receiving inspection report
- Monitor and check revision status of drawings used on site by construction team including subcontractors, to ensure that no superseded drawings are at point of use
- Monitor storage area and take necessary action to prevent damage. Report un-acceptable practices to quality manager
- Maintain quality records specified by relevant inspection test plans and contract documents
- Ensure all original copies of records are handed over to document & data controller
- Control and monitoring for construction material [Concrete, blockwork, plaster, ceramic tiles … etc.]
- Perform a bi-weekly Report on the Materials Wastage with the root causes.
- Perform a weekly Material Tracking System [MTS] log.
Job Requirements
- Cairo Residence Preferably near Nasr City or Maadi.
- Experience (4 - 8) year.
- Previous experience in residential projects.
Proficiency in dealing with:
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft office
- Standards, specifications and codes (locals and national’s codes)
- ISO 9001 requirements
- HSE standards and requirements.
