Job Description

The Corporate Sales Executive will be responsible for all sales and Clients development activities associated with the company events.

This includes relationship building with existing customers and identification, approaching and sales to new customers. This position will include Sponsorship, Exhibition and Delegate sales for events developed and managed by the company or by any of its clients. The Corporate Sales Executive will also assist senior management in developing corporate sales and marketing strategies designed to increase revenue and offer a more diverse product offering. This is an inside sales position as customers are based around the globe.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Research and Identify new potential clients selling the company’s products
  • Generate new leads and make phone calls to prospective customers
  • Attend other industry events for prospecting opportunities
  • Drive through the achievement of 4 - 5 events targets per year
  • Build strong relationships with clients to engage them in other future business
  • To drive through the sales process for selling sponsorship packages to potential clients
  • Continue to find new ways to improve the Company revenue and open new revenue angles

Management

  • Manage and maintain existing policies and procedures for the unit
  • Achieve personal, Team and Events targets
  • On a regular basis (as advised by the General Manager) provide updated and accurate reports, including:
  • Financial revenue versus target
  • Sales achievement
  • Events progress update

General

  • Continually monitor and research the market
  • Identify and attend competitive events where appropriate
  • Database clean and build

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achievement of sales revenue/profit targets
  • Number of calls made per day
  • Monitoring the time of staff call duration and quality
  • Generating new ideas to improve the company revenue

Job Requirements

Background Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • History of obtaining business through selling.
  • Pharmaceutical background is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Demonstrated successful sales record of high value sales activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision
  • Demonstrated understanding of events sponsorship features and benefits
  • Ability to work on variety of sales cycles (3 – 12 Month)
  • Ability to solve customer problems related to sales activities
  • Highly motivated, team player, personable, Result driven with high commercial awareness
  • Fluent in speaking and writing English. Proficient in Microsoft office with high attention to details
  • Effective communication at all levels internally and externally
  • Effective negotiation skills,
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Flexible and adaptable,
  • Remains calm and approachable under pressure within changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to multi task with good planning, organization and time management skills
