Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Lead the development and implementation of supply chain strategy planning, logistics procurement and warehousing activities to meet the growth plans and business objectives.
- Identify the critical supplies required to support company strategies in key performance areas.
- Review and Enhance supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Set principles and guidelines to ensure inventory in all operations sectors are kept as the agreed target to ensure optimization of working capital
- Ensure consistently high quality standards with optimal utilization of product capacity and resources.
- Leverage synergies across operations & Supply Chain Function in order to effectively utilize the power of one in terms of supply chain and fully utilize resources and share best practices
- Identify success and areas of improvement opportunities across Supply chain and implement proper plans
- Monitor material costs forecasts or standard cost lists and assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
- Ensure procedures and systems to evaluate and select suppliers
- Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste and optimize customer service
- Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Commerce
- Master’s in Business Administration
- Supply chain Management certificates
- Up to 15 years of supply chain experience and at least 3 years in same position
- Lean Six Sigma is plus
- FMCG Background
