Job Description

  • Provide assistant support on technical issues to the CEO on matters sent concerning technical issues across projects guidance and to be considered in Management Committees/Boards.
  • Prepares response on the key issues raised by the CEO related to day-to-day matters.
  • Prepares any other reports as and when needed by the CEO; coordinate with other departments’ entities to gather necessary information.
  • Contribute to various committees in the corporation as assigned by the CEO.
  • Participate in various meetings and TFs chaired by the CEO and prepare related reports and briefs.
  • Attend meetings with the CEO, responding to technical inquiries as appropriate; present technical knowledge and information on projects and services, providing answers and translating the technical capabilities of all services. Undertake research, investigation and clarifications after meetings and follow up as needed.
  • Have finger on the pulse of the industry, market and competitors, and communicate on issues related to the industry.
  • Assist the CEO on a wide range of issues which include collecting, analyzing and summarizing all relevant data.
  • Support the delivery and maintenance of consistent and realistic plans and control structures for the projects during both tendering and execution stages.
  • Understand and monitor the interfaces between assigned project sub-elements and other sub-elements.
  • Review the schedule monthly progress update.
  • Comply with the planning and progress monitoring procedures.
  • Monitor projects progress and advise action to meet the schedule, if delayed.
  • Liaise with projects engineering personnel to assist proper understanding of the key schedule sensitivities and drivers.
  • Know the contract key dates, milestones and plan dates and how they relate to the overall project schedule.
  • Monitor cash flow Reports.
  • Monitor and review manpower and equipment Plan throughout different phases of each project.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree of civil engineering
  • Solid background in construction planning
  • 8-10 years of experience in construction industry
  • PMP certificate is an asset
  • Very good command of English
  • Excellent command of using Primavera and MS Project
