Job Description
The irrigation controllers’ business unit is one year old and focuses on creating and selling high tech irrigation controllers and smart sensors to the landscaping and farming industry.
Schaduf is currently looking for the next brilliant talent to lead this business unit.
Tasks:
- Manage and grow the business
- Set general strategic and operational plan
- Set KPIs for the team and support in achieving them
- Manage day to day operations
- Seek business development opportunities with local and international strategic partners
- Supervise the product design process in bringing needed products to the market
- Create weekly, monthly and yearly plans and budgets
- Write and negotiate high level proposals to key accounts
- Expand operations overseas in collaboration with other company offices

Job Requirements
This position requires:
- A highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit
- A passion for growth in the irrigation technology sector
- The ability to lead teams
- Business plan and proposal writing skills
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar field
- At least 3 years of management experience
- Must have a business development, management or consulting background
- Preferred educational backgrounds (agricultural engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, architecture or product design)
