Job profile summary:

The primary role of the Channel Marketing Executive is to support and coordinate on-ground Workshops, Trade and Channel initiatives in conjunction with the Sales & Marketing Plans. The Channel Marketing Executive is to champion the implementation excellence by working closely with respective Brand Managers, Area Sales Managers and Distributor Sales organization.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Independent Workshops (IWS) & Channel Development:

  • Help in Developing trade and shopper marketing offers / rebate schemes for competitive differentiation
  • In-store management - execute strategies for managing store layouts, product planograms, increasing Share of Shelf, managing merchandisers, POS designs and production, allocation etc.
  • Be the organization’s face with Customers. Building Customer relationship, retention, loyalty and up gradation Programs.
  • Generate shopper insights and execute shopper marketing programs to influence shopper behavior at the Point of Consumption and Point of Sales. Execute a retail touch point model to drive convert preference and intent into favorable purchase action for Castrol.
  • Help in generating local insights and trends, understand shoppers purchase decision hierarchy. Turning deep consumer and customer understanding into winning programs and innovations enabling us to break away from the competition.
  • Help in improving our competitive position including relative trade advocacy and shopper preference as well as volume and value share within market spaces.
  • Drive marketing efforts targeted at channel partners viz. Distributors, Retailers, workshops and their shoppers, while aligning with Category strategies. Liaison and collaborate with Area Sales Managers, and Marketing team for successful completion of activities and programs initiated for channel partners
  • Recruit, maintain & Develop Channels through programs like CAS, and Castrol Points

FWS:

  • Working closely with Marketing Manager, and Sales team on planning, developing, and pitching for FWS accounts’ programs including Red Carpet, Castrol Professional Offer

Job Requirements

  • Graduate with from a premier management institute.
  • Minimum 5 years in Sales and Marketing with a strong understanding of retail trade and shopper behavior, preferably in FMCG environment.
  • Experience of prospecting, network planning and managing dealers/large-scale distributors within the category is preferred.
  • Channel development experience is a must. Including merchandising, and trade promotions.
  • Good analytical skills and expertise in Excel, Power Point is a must
  • Experience in lubricants category is preferred
  • Proficiency in English
  • Arabic language knowledge is a big advantage
