Job Description

  • At least five years of facility operations and maintenance experience.
  • Experience supervising a technical staff.
  • Technical knowledge of electrical distribution and emergency/standby power systems, HVAC systems, fire detection/suppression or monitoring/control systems.
  • Very good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Familiarity with computers and computer networking.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook
  • Customer Focus , the ability to meet the expectations and requirements of customers in light of what is best for Schneider Electric.
  • Leadership, The ability to influence and inspire the behaviour of other people toward group goals.
  • Decision Making, The cognitive process of selecting a course of action from among multiple alternatives.
  • The ability to assume responsibility for successful completion of assignments and tasks; sets and achieves high standards.
  • Adherence to a code of ethical and professional values.
  • 5 Technical Knowledge of Uptime, Environmental Health and Safety, Code and Regulatory Compliance, Emergency Preparation and Response, Change Management, Quality System, Electrical Systems, HVAC Systems, Monitoring and Control Systems.
