Job Description
- Supply planning is a key support to the different departments with a concentrated focus on inventory parameters and improve material availability. Supply Planner is responsible for the analysis and periodic reporting of the RDC’s inventory, with a sharp focus on ensuring optimum inventory levels to optimum service level. Supply Planner is the core responsible for obsolescence identification, reporting and management.
- Insure product availability by taking proactive actions to prevent delivery issues to customer and solve back orders and shortages
- Manage New Back Order Lines on a regular basis
- Manage cold loop process root cause analysis of BOL and OTDS utilizing reason codes
- Implementation of improvement actions to reduce BOL and increase service level
- Define and update stock parameters to achieve service level objectives while optimizing inventory level
- Manage and review purchase&sales order portfolio , analyze stock&orders and perform adjustments
- Inventory Reports analysis and creation of follow up files to maintain Gross stock/DIG/UHS information
- Monitor closely the level of obsolete stock , lead scrap campaignFollow up & maintain of product life cycle process with marketing , supply chainRun the distribution requirement planning process
- Collaborate with Demand Planners , SIOP leaders to monitor forecast performance, review critical families, give valuable input for DRP and make necessary actions to reduce obsolete stock
- Collaborate and follow up with Procurement agents for purchase order portfolio management
- Implement continuous improvement projects by using “ Lean, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma” and other methodologies"Work collaboratively with related functions to ensure all methods / processes deliver the expected benefit and share best practices
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree ( Supply Chain)
- 2-3 years Supply Chain Experience (demand/ supply planning or Sales Forecasting)
- Ability to learn and understand new tools and concepts quickly
- Analytical and strong ability to work with numbers and forecast data
- Academic requirements preferably superior studies (Mathematics, IT, Business Administration., etc)
- Very Good Computer literacy, with focus on ERP (SAP) MM Module
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
