Job Description

  • Responsible for overseeing the entire development process of new products and programs within an organization, from the initial planning phase to implementation or production.
  • To keep track of all the costs related to the creation of these new products and decide what ideas are worth pursuing.
  • Informed on what is happening in the research and development field at large in order to make sure the company is up-to-date and current with the most advanced R&D developments
  • Having a keen ability to pay attention to details is important, in addition to closely supervise every step of the development process for new products.
  • Provide specification and product evaluation.
  • Provide assistance on quality issues and look for root causes for continuous improvement.
  • Provides vision and inspiration on product and architecture development
  • Manage information resources and technology to generate product ideas.

Job Requirements

  • Understands the broader business drivers, with the ability to work collaboratively with key functional areas both inside and outside of the company
  • Highly integrated leader with ability to inspire change throughout the company
  • Experience of prototype development and early life cycle of the products
  • Experience in capture planning and management
  • Experience of developing research strategies
  • Understanding cost control and measurement metrics.
  • Leadership and managerial skills are also important in this role, as well as the ability to communicate well with colleagues and customers across all levels .
  • A strong sense of creativity will also aid in the process of thinking of new product ideas and solving problems creatively.

Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years hands-on experience in the marketing field at least 3 years in the same position
  • Experience in managing a team of researchers is a must.
  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Business Administration (Marketing Major)
  • MBA Study is aplus.
  • Fluent In English
