Job Description

Position Overview

This position is a trusted technical advisor to our clients in providing technical expertise and strategic insight for a diverse Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Building Owner customer base. Examples of services include BIM 360 and Revit Consulting, Training, Mentoring, Solutions Development, Discovery, Opportunity Qualification, Workflow Analysis and Design, Pre and Post-Sales Support. Product knowledge of applications in the Autodesk AEC Collection and BIM 360 is desired as well as specific knowledge of BIM requirements, BIM processes and workflows, and Revit. While this is primarily a technical services provider position, you will be expected to provide pre-sales support for our team of Account Managers as well. Travel may be required, but you will also use remote desktop sharing technologies to deliver consulting services support remotely whenever possible.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide value-based pre-sales support, including documented discovery, demos, and technical consulting
  • Review new functionality (as available) to support continuing adoption.
  • Technical Discovery and Solution Fit
  • Provide leadership and guidance in the formulation of requirement definitions, scope documents, user needs studies, process assessments and project assessments for sales opportunities to help make business cases and drive ROI
  • Leverage Autodesk software, applications, and services together with other resources to develop innovative solutions that satisfy technical, fiscal, and schedule constraints within the customer’s business
  • Participate in a unified Customer Journey
  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to recommend additional education, deployment and enablement services options (consulting sales lead channel)
  • Empower customers with tools to monitor, improve and optimize their investment with Autodesk.
  • Drive Customer Experience
  • Identify successful customer stories to support marketing and customer reference pipeline
  • Provide additional avenue to pass along customer feature requests
  • Understand any customer dissatisfaction issues and provide guidance on how to engage proper channel (and in some cases engage internal resources directly) as appropriate
  • Sales enablement support for new functionality
  • Work with product development and marketing teams to understand new release functionality
  • Work with Product Marketing to help translate new functionality into value-add messaging to train sales account executives
  • Support and augment account executive training on high-level demonstration of new functionality, as well as support configuration of demo zones and/or value pitch accordingly
  • Work with product marketing to develop demo (and/or strategy) for different market segments.
  • Support speaking engagements (as needed) to evangelize customer success and/or best practices in getting the most value from the Autodesk BIM products.
  • Help connect and network mutual Autodesk customers to discuss application usage approaches and learnings as relevant
  • Help build the foundation to a scale a World Class Customer Success Organization

Job Requirements

Personal Requirements

  • Leverage your prior AEC industry experience to drive desired business outcomes
  • Experience using the Autodesk BIM products
  • Experience using BIM 360 in your current or previous role is a plus
  • Proven track record in managing clients, executing meetings, and developing deep industry relationships
  • Passion for helping our customers and a commitment to creating amazing customer experiences
  • Proactively seek opportunities to learn and improve existing processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, in person and over the phone
  • Experience conducting group webinars.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is a must.
  • Very Good Command of English.
  • Flexibility to work extra hours, remotely, or weekends when required.
  • Flexibility to travel inside or outside Egypt.
  • Flexibility to work under pressure and in different environment.
  • Problems solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Good research skills and attention to detail.
  • Accept challenges and able to meet deadlines.
