Mechanical Engineer

We are subcontracting parts in China and other countries, so we need engineers that are able to do the following:

• Produce outline designs.
• Conduct experiments methodically, analyze data and interpret results.
• Test and evaluate theoretical designs for jigs and tooling.
• Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems in production.
• Suggesting design modification to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions
• Estimate budget and scope of project.
• Solicit observations from operators.
• Prepare product reports and documentation including inspection plan.
• Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods.
• Review drawing so we make sure all info is clear for foreign supplier in English (knowing French would be a Plus)
• Generate 3d drawing and 2d drawing for production purpose
• Create item in the system with the technical info and create the BOM
• Accuracy of work is very important
• presenting designs to managers and clients
• Writing reports and documentation
• Read and extract information from standards so we can put the data inside our software
• Build the inspection plan to be used by the inspectors and supplier
