Job Description
- Organize and manage resources (manpower/equipment/materials), subcontractors and schedules for construction projects.
- Identify the resources required at each project stage to meet project objectives.
- Prepare documentation like the scope of work, contracts, purchase orders, reports, and budgets.
- Monitor all construction operations to ensure budget, quality and schedule are met.
- Collaborate with the technical office, to determine suitable specifications of the projects.
- Negotiate with subcontractors to reach profitable agreements.
- Evaluate progress, keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly.
- Maintain, review and update the project plan.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
- Direct and control the project team to ensure that they achieve their objectives.
- Communicate with the other departments, regarding any updates in the projects plan kick-off meeting.
- Coordinate with all consultants.
- Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the mainframe of the job’s specialty
Job Requirements
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- The candidate should have 10-15 years of relevant experience in a similar organization out of which 3-5 years should be in a similar position.
- Strong English and Arabic language capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
