Job Description
Main job purpose:-
- Senior Office Engineer act as the liaison between Production Dept, Plants Managers, and clients on implement projects, providing technical and administrative information to all parties involved in the project. This role may be more administrative than technical.
Essential duties and tasks:-
- Develop and design Shop Drawings and layouts based on project specifications and requirements
- Prepare work requisition for all required permanent materials
- Review project plan and determine the design feasibility and constraints
- Dealing efficiently with the project consultant and submit proposals
- Calculate the project's BOQ costing, including supply materials
- Negotiating with suppliers on pricing and quality of materials
- Follow-up on the deliveries and invoicing of materials
- Coordinating with the relevant departments of the project (e.g Production, Designing, Sales)
- Demonstrate responsibility and report spontaneously to the manager
- Supervising the technical office staff and conduct performance reviews
- Managing the team.
Job Requirements
Knowledge, skills, abilities:-
- BS degree in ِApplied Arts
- 5-7 Years of experience in furniture field is a must
- Excellent user of (2D, AutoCAD) is a must
- Very good knowledge of (3D MAX, Rhino) is a plus
- Proficiency in MS office programs
- Demonstrate ability to manage the team and to have leader's character
- Very Good in verbal & written English
- Strong time management skills
- Strong communication skills
