Key Responsibilities

Writes edit structure and develops new modules for software or hardware with advanced level of complex features or components.
Facilitates the creation and owns the delivery of internal and external customer documentation, which may include roadmaps, training documentation, support knowledge base articles, newsletters, etc.
Collaborates with Product Managers, Engineering, and other stakeholders to align deliverables across the overall Live Optics portfolio.
Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards.
Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.
Develops a solid working knowledge of technical domain and product content.
Moderate level of complex work without daily direction by management.
Ability to manage multiple projects that are relatively complex in scope.
May train and coach lower level team members.
Performs as a project lead within the department and communicates status of deliverables to stakeholders and leadership.

Essential Requirements

Typically 4-6 years related professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 2-4 years with a Graduate degree; or equivalent experience
Has thorough understanding and knowledge of technical writing and editing.
Has a thorough knowledge and understanding of computer technology (internal components/hardware) and is able to learn new technical concepts quickly.
Exhibits superior knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Understands the need to set multiple priorities and goals and manage work independently.
Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understands goals and strategies necessary for achieving high standards while still meeting deadlines and keeping costs down.
Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.

Desirable Requirements

Understanding of Enterprise products and data center technology: Server, Virtualization, Storage, Workloads, Data Protection, Performance, etc.
Commercial or Enterprise Technical Sales experience
Society for Technical Communication (STC) certification or similar coursework
