Job Description

  • The Ad Operations Specialist will be responsible for trafficking digital media channels. They will be responsible for testing and launching ad creatives and monitoring delivery to perform necessary optimizations and reporting as needed. This person will also be responsible for liaising with creative agencies, creating publishers and Agencies Accounts, creating ad units, handling of DSPs and SSPs  
  • The chosen candidate will ensure effective delivery of digital media plans and drive the day-to-day execution of digital ad delivery to meet client expectations for a broad spectrum of advertiser accounts.

Duties: 

  • Campaign set-up and execution, including generating and testing ad tags for campaign launches
  • Complete quality assurance and testing of creative assets to ensure proper functionality across browsers
  • Ensure ad creative adheres to technical specifications and troubleshoot creative issues that affect implementation, tracking and/or reporting
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure the proper set-up and deployment of campaigns
  • Liaise with the digital account team to ensure accurate reporting, optimization and fulfillment of campaign delivery
  • Maintain records of creative assets and internal documents that track proposals and campaign execution
  • Use best practices to pace budget and optimize for performance where necessary
  • Perform reconciliations between media plans and 3rd party ad delivery
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to quickly resolve technical issues
  • Identify opportunities to implement solutions that increase effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Additional projects and tasks supporting the Ad Operations team where required

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2-5  years of experience.
  • Deep understanding of DoubleClick Ad Mmanager  (experience with other 3rd party ad servers a plus).
  • Comfort with Microsoft Excel and ability to consolidate information and work with multiple data points.
  • A strong knowledge of technical market standards (VAST, VPAID, ad-serving, SSP, DSP, etc.). A good understanding of web standards such as HTML, JS / JSON, CSSs, Web Analytics tracking and Viewability/Verification preferred etc. is a plus.
  • A previous experience in the programmatic industry is a plus (Trading Desk, DSP, ad-networks, etc.) You are a team worker, adaptable and resourceful
  • Competent user of Ad server technology, and third-party tagging
  • Core understanding of digital advertising and associated technology principles, ad-serving, tagging, web analytics, attribution etc
  • Experience in trafficking campaigns using dynamic creative
  • Best-Practice knowledge of working with DSPs, SSPs, and different type of deal types (PG, Open, RTB etc)
  • Hands-on expertise with Google Ad Manager and Freewheel
