Job Description
- Develop the business strategy
- The Senior Master planning Engineer will be the single point of contact with the German support team for the project master planning activity and will be responsible for the project plans and design deliverable.
- He/ She should come from an engineering background with production/design work experience and be able to confidently develop project scopes, based on the business variables production capacity, operating team, inventory forecasts, working schedules and budgets, and plan project resources.
- He/ She will interact with colleagues to translate specialized requirements into resources for a project.
- Other responsibilities include overseeing junior engineers & office administration work of DWG’s and assumptions and calculations.
- Plus having some background in developing new business opportunities for the master planning area in the Middle East and Africa and achieve sales target.
- Create project execution plans.
- Conduct regular project site inspections/ flexible travel as needed
- Project monitoring and reporting; Planning engineers monitor day-to-day work progress for a project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports by swiftly communicating potential progress delays or project slippages. Tracking and analyzing field results is another key responsibility. Planning engineers continually make comparisons between planned progress and actual progress and report any differences to their project manager.
- Responsible for end of project customer satisfaction results.
Job Requirements
- A relevant Bachelor or master degree in Mechanical or industrial Engineering.
- Min 10-15 years of experience.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent English Speaking
- The German Language is a plus
