Job Description
Main Job Duties:
- Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports.
- Manage and maintain the company’s tax database.
- Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes.
- Estimate and track tax returns
- Organize and update the company’s tax database
- Prepare necessary paperwork for returns tax payments (free Zone)
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Possessing strong knowledge of tax law and statutory regulations
- Understanding financial landscape and market trends
- Know and understand the firm’s policies and procedures
- Implement client engagements from start to finish including planning, executing, directing and completing tax assignments
- Review tax returns prepared by staff and make recommendations regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities
- Possess an understanding of state and foreign tax issues
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary and ability to work additional hours as needed.
Job Requirements
- Good experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst and knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Prefer working with free zones or SC-zone companies
- Good experience with accounting software packages
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Keen attention to detail
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant subject; industry certification (e.g. CMA or CPA)
