Job Description
Agreement with the engineer of maintenance of medical devices in Red Crescent Clinics in Cairo. The tasks to be performed are as follows:
- Passing by headquarters of the red crescent in Cairo(Zeinhom-Nahda-Ain Helwan-Helwan Triangle-Mokkattam).
- Visits per month, provided that the periodic maintenance required for the medical devices and calibration for the headquarter's devices.
- On-Demand-Visits(on call )to any of the mentioned above five headquarters when needed to take place with a maximum of 24 hours after the time of the request.Up to a maximum of five monthly visits, with any additional visit having a separate note and additional fees.
- Send detailed reports of periodic visits and emergency visits to the department of health services. The report includes :
- Devices that have been scanned and crashes that have been fixed .
- In case of need for spare parts or external repair, a quotation for the necessary spare parts is accompanied or note at approximate cost of the repair process to take approval of the purchase of spare parts or repair.
- Using his technical opinion in the following operations within the red Crescent:
- Buy new medical devices.
- Medical devices out of service.
- Any committees convened by the Red Crescent shall be within the competence of the medical devices.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate should have the following minimum qualifications:
- University degree in Biomedical Engineering or a University Degree in other fields of Engineering with a postgraduate diploma in Biomedical Engineering; or its equivalent from a recognized University / Institution
- Have previous work with governmental entities in the same field
- Demonstrated knowledge in preparation of supply tender documents and Specifications for medical equipment and medical supplies is desirable.
- A high level of interpersonal, management skills, integrity and ability to work with complex teams
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
