The BASIS Consultant will provide SAP technical support and expertise. The BASIS Consultant’s primary responsibilities will include the following:

Assist in architecting the technical landscape of the SAP Solution;
Assist in designing the Solution architecture;
Ensure that all SAP infrastructure changes are done utilizing change management tools and processes;
Apply SAP BASIS skills to install, upgrade and maintain SAP and associated technologies;
Be involved in overall system tuning;

Bachelor degree in Information Technology or any related field.
5-8 years of SAP experience; of which 3-5 years of SAP Basis configuration experience required.
Experienced in a leading role in 1-2 large-scale SAP implementations achieving production status.
SAP Basic Certification required
Strong knowledge of security administration for SAP, and implementation life cycle phases of an SAP implementation.
Experience in consulting and should have excellent client facing and communication skills.

Hands on experience with the below:

Administration, configuration and performance tuning of Large Oracle Databases.
UNIX operating systems - preferably Sun Solaris.
SAP R/3 and associated technologies; working knowledge of ECC*/Netweaver* (CRM/BW/EP/…).
Administration, configuration, and performance tuning of Oracle databases.
Control life cycle of user access to SAP by adding and removing users, establishing user profiles, and controlling group membership of users.
