Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Understand Classera’s partnership needs and opportunities based on the Strategic Plan.
- Work on individual partnerships to arrange and hold partnership meetings, deliver administrative aspects of the partnership plans.
- Create and maintain the proposals and presentations to enable partnership opportunities.
- Support partnership director to review and appraise partnerships according to individual plans.
- Develop and manage Memorandum Of Understandings, and contracts as may arise from partnerships.
- Work with partners to deliver effective processes e.g. information sharing, press releases, assessment and referral processes.
- Source information from Partners (as per plan in signed agreements or ad-hoc), and for providing Partners with reciprocal information from Classera.
- Support partnership director in the monitoring of the existing partnerships and help prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for both internal and external circulation
- Ensuring continuous improvement of monitoring and evaluating systems for partnerships so that any potential problems are identified and dealt with at an early stage.
- Maintain a database of information relating to Partners’, individual requirements and goals, and such other details as are relevant to the development and maintenance of those partnerships;
- Provide support to Classera teams to ensure that the local follow up and execution of partnership is in line with the agreements, on track and on time.
- Undertake initial work associated with new countries applying to become Partners with Classera.
Administrative Tasks
- Handle general inquiries directed to the Partnership Team (phone/e-mail).
- Provide support to the team in the overall financial management and reporting of global partnerships.
- Provide liaison with external consultants &/or contractors (i.e. verification agencies), and handle in
- coordination with the finance Team the contracting and invoicing phases.
- Liaise with members of other Classera teams to ensure inter-departmental cross-exchange of information.

- Following-up on conversations and processes.
External Representation & Communication
- Work as a focal point and main support resource in the Partnership Team and prepare accurate, timely and
- complete reports related to activities in partnership countries.
- Contribute materials to communication pieces in order to build Classera into a well-known and respected brand within and beyond the eLearning sector.
- `Beyond these specific responsibilities, the Partnership Officer is expected to collaborate on activities as
- agreed with the Partnership Director and Classera Managers to support the implementation of Classera
- Strategic Plan as related to partnership efforts.
Job Requirements
- University degree, or equivalent higher education qualification, in a relevant field (education, international relations, business administration, political science, or a related field is preferred).
- Experience in project planning and coordination.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic. (French is a plus)
- Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and CRM.
- Strong business acumen and judgment.
- Ability to work independently and with a team with minimum supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Must possess an ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, and work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Should be able to organize and prioritize own work with limited supervision.
