Job Description
Position Summary
- The technical lead is responsible for leading the team in terms of technology through framework development and leadership.
- This person should have the technical know-how to engage in multiple projects with a myriad of front-end and back-end technologies.
- This person should also show leadership and be able to mentor, motivate and coach junior engineers and developers.
- They should be accountable for all technical outputs while providing guidance and expertise and continuously looking for opportunities to improve quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of large-scale web applications
- Server and container configuration
- Lead, mentor, and coach junior developers
- Take ownership of the overall planning and execution of complex technical projects
- Build trusted relationships by partnering with peers across IT and Business to best achieve priorities and objectives and act as One Team
- Increase internal business partnership satisfaction and ensure key deliverables are met
- Lead problem solving and troubleshooting of software and interface issues; drive issues to resolution
Job Requirements
Needed Qualifications
- +8 years experience in developing an application used by thousands daily users
- Has already managed / hired a development team
- Expert in PHP platforms (Symfony, Laravel, …)
- Expert in Database modelisation (MySQL)
- Agile methodology, Continuous integration
