Design, develop/upgrade, deploy, maintain and engineer high quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
Produce designs that meet targets for feasibility, performance, costs, quality, safety, legislation and timing. Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data of the part to determine dimensions and configuration of cuts.
Interact with director, researchers, and client, as necessary to obtain critical design information required to complete project within intended time frame.
Update and maintain product design files. Assist in improving daily processes to ensure that the CAD systems meet customer requirements.
Train and guide production engineers on engineered design when needed. Determine limitations, assumptions and solutions in the design and development of CAD models.
Determine design specifications and parameters for CAD models. Select cutting tools. Determine machine speeds and feed rates.
Knowledge of machine shop processes, part specifications and machine capabilities is required. Exercise discretion and judgement to produce the most efficient tool path.
Determine reference points and direction of machine cutting paths. Compute angular and linear dimensions, radii, and curvatures.
Create setup sheets and tool sheets to guide setup and operation of machine. Ensure the quality of the work by using various measurement methods and equipment.

Other Skills:

Strong CAM experience for multi-axis machining CATION and Solid Works experience preferred but we’ll offer training too.
Machining knowledge and strong programming fundamentals.
Theoretical and practical application of highly-specialized knowledge in computer systems, analysis, programming and engineering.
Great attendance and a positive attitude.
Language: English is a must.
Arabic is a must.
