Job Scope:
- To support in exceeding client expectation by implementing visual elements that users see and interact within a web application.
Main Duties:
- Develop features to enhance the user experience.
- Determine the structure and design of web pages.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Make suggestions for better solutions to problems.
- Provide high-quality graphics and visual elements.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Write functional requirement documents and guides.
- Provide website maintenance and enhancements.
- Ensure secure coding standards to protect the clients against various vulnerabilities
- Help set technical standards and best practices for the front end team.
Job Requirements
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.
- Knowledge of graphics and web design & prototyping software such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, SketchApp and Invisionapp.
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as (Git, SVN).
