Job Description
- Design and develop test cases for software tools and websites to verify product functionality according to user requirements.
- Write clear and concise bug reports and scenarios to ensure clear communication with the software developer.
- Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated).
- Test web services and APIs.
- Report overall project status and generating statistics.
- Develop and Maintain Testing Plan.
- Contribute to Improving Test Process.
- Design and Execute in one or more of the Following Testing Types, Automation, Performance, and Security.
- Analyze user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
- Design and develop automation scripts when needed.
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Provide timely solutions.
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Provide support and documentation.
Job Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or any related degree.
- At least 5 years’ experience in testing Web and Mobile Applications.
- Excellent attention to detail to identify defects including Functional/ Non Functional defects.
- Passionate about the quality of our applications.
- ISTQB Certification is a MUST
- Experience in the following areas of testing: automation, performance, security is preferable.
- Experience in both Manual and Automated testing is highly preferable.
