Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

  • The project manager is responsible manage software projects interfacing with customer and internal teams from analysis phase till delivery.
  • Experience with Agile methodology, the software development industry, software process and project management techniques.
  • This person will focus on the execution of the project plan, coordinate between different stakeholders to guarantee on-time, and to specification delivery of products.
  • The project manager will assess to projects pricing and delivery time plan estimation.
  • The project manager will be responsible for emphasizing the company vision, and to apply the development cycle best practices besides company strategy in Team Building, Team Spirit and goals achievements.

RELATIONSHIPS

  • This position requires the ability to coordinate with different teams internally (development team, QA and Support team), and customer externally to keep the project plan on time and to specification.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand customer requirements; communicate with the customer to collect requirements.
  • Create, manage and track project, including, but not limited to
  • Project schedules
  • Detailed project plan
  • Project scope statement
  • Cost estimation
  • Resource planning
  • Status report
  • Execute project plan with coordination with development, QC teams and customer.
  • Coordinate between different internal teams including
  • Sales and technical teams.
  • Development and QC teams.
  • Interface with the customer.
  • Follow up the standard agile methodology in terms of effective refactoring, Sprint-based programming, reasonable features and tasks break down to have good time estimation.
  • Apply agile methodology across all development teams in terms of
  • Daily stand-up meeting
  • Sprint planning
  • Manage a scrum tool
  • Uses Resources Available in an Effective Manner in terms of Setting and observing own priorities for the best use of time.
  • Make decisions and communicate trade-offs and risks; drive key decisions across projects.
  • Make recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization and resource allocation with input from team members
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities including requirements collection and cost estimation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, Business Informatics.
  • Preferably possess PMP certificate or attended courses of project management would be a plus. five or more years of extensive experience is required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years’ experience with project management.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong knowledge of the software development cycle.
  • Experience in requirements analysis.
  • Proficient with MS Project or similar software and MS Office applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, Creative.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills.
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work on medium/large size projects.
  • Maintains quality customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independently.
  • Must possess above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Considered an out of the box thinker and displays a willingness to learn
