Software Technical Lead

Eksab is looking for a Software Development Technical Team Lead to join the team. Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of software development experience.

Eksab is a technology startup built for the 1.2 billion football fans in the Middle-East and Africa. Eksab is looking for an exceptional full stack developer who will be responsible for:

• Coding, innovative design and architecture of the app we built.
• Hiring, managing and growing a team of exceptional talent as well as offering inputs into the overall tech strategy of the company. You will use data and analytics and implement a solid project management structure for the tech team.
• An engineering leader who wants to help shape an industry.
• Work closely with the company's management to determine strategy

• This is a full-time position at the Eksab office at the Greek Campus in downtown Cairo. The position is reserved for candidates with exceptional experience across a range of technologies, as well those with a clear enthusiasm for the Eksab product and vision.

As Technical Lead, you will:

• Lead Eksab's Software Development team.
• Develop, design, and deploy web-based applications on the basis of business requirements and aligned functionalities
• Implement and configure interface concepts for projects facing different back-ends and systems.
• Ensure scalability, availability, reliability, and security of the application by conducting thorough Alpha & Beta testing
• Ensure that the solution meets internal and external compliance & security standards.
• Keep up-to-date with technological trends & UX innovations
• Research technological aspects of Eksab's competitors.

Here’s what an ordinary day looks like, you will:

• Developing and maintaining both new and existing features.
• Recruiting talented engineers to your team.
• Write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications.
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Contribute to presentation layer standards and practices.
• Contribute to testing and implementation approach for presentation layer.
• Prototype future interfaces.
• Collaborating closely with the product team and other team members and stakeholders.
• Managing the software development team.
• Taking responsibility of Eksab's entire technology stack.
