Job Description
- Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Updating accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Manage the daily functions of the company’s Cash and Treasury.
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as financial accountant ( AR preferred )
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or commerce or any related field
- Familiar with Quick book
- Familiar with Warehouse/ Stock Control Systems
- FMCG & Stock Control experience is a Plus
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Great attention to detail
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
