Responsibilities:

Contacting suppliers and following with them
Arranging, checking and confirming the documents of shipments
Contacting logistics agents
Daily tracking the shipments schedule
Follow up with the old clients through phone and mail.
Checking with the shipping lines on the arrival date of the ships.
Reviewing the S/O.
Follow up with the Customer Service regarding the new updates of the shipment.
Preparing the shipment papers after finishing them to be sent to the client.Contact Shipping Lines & Forwarders.
Prepare all the required documents for implementing the export process.
Responsible for handling all banks procedures (LCs/LG/Transferable LC).
Collects all types of information from overseas markets and informs the information system to make strategic decision making easier.
Looks for and detects purchasing opportunities for goods and services overseas.
Prepares, carries outs and checks on the follow - up of import operations.
Carries out these tasks with profitability, quality and customer satisfaction objectives in mind.
Other tasks as required

B.Sc or B.A degree in any relevant discipline
3 to 5 years in import/export business logistics, Sound understanding export logistics and freight forwarding activities
Good communication skills
Ability to work without supervision and under pressure
Proficient use of Microsoft office tools including Excel, databases, Outlook and emails, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to judge & maintain confidentiality
Ability to set up a reporting system and update it with data on a daily or weekly basis as required
Strong customer and supplier relationship development and maintenance
