Mechanical Engineer

• Mainly responsible for commissioning, repair and maintenance of the following machineries but not

limited to; mixers, agitators, compressor, chiller, pumps, motor gearboxes, generators and HVAC.

• Perform preventive maintenance and vibration analysis. Strict compliance to maintenance SOP's, PM

scheduling, and machinery shut down and start-up. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. To strictly follow company maintenance guidelines, and MSDS familiarity before handling chemicals.

• Gives summary reports to plant manager. Machine down times, causes and repairs done, (RCA).
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs

unscheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

• Makes sure that safe operations of the plant before every start-up. Checks machine parameters if are within safe and normal operating limits.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machineries. Oversees maintenance works and makes sure such works are

performed well.

• Makes modifications and adjustments to machines. This includes access to chiller, compressor and

generator parameters. Records and maintains machinery parameters.

• Supervises maintenance staff during the repairs and installation.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper

supervision.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Biannually pass improvement projects to plant manager as part of KAIZEN. This is a practice for

continuous improvement in the processes, maintenance and work framework in general.
