Job Description
- Management responsibilities including the day to day management of MSS trainers, coordinators, and trainees to include providing work assignments on course development for the corporate education program in the Learning Management System (LMS), certification programs for the Medical Support Staff (MSS) and providing formal classroom training of these staff resources.
- Manage, facilitate, and host all educational programs
- Cross-train in all training established and developed for MSS and trainees
- Works in conjunction with Medical Providers, Dental Providers, Behavioral Health Providers and all other staff to ensure that patients obtain the highest standard f integrated health care.
- Communicates with Medical Services Department leaders to align the training program based on needs of the Medical Department.
- Participates in departmental meetings
- Works with various subject matter experts as needed to develop, enhance or update Medical training content.
- Directs designated Instructors to insure they are utilizing the learning management system to deliver electronic content to Medical Support staff.
- Assists in the provision of the orientation and professional development of MSS Floor Leads and Medical Support Staff.
- Schedules and facilitates MSS Floor Lead meetings
- Participate in professional development activities to keep current with trends and practices in health care management
- Responsible for networking with local community resources to assist in the development of the internal MA Education program.
- Follows procedures for the electronic health records system

Job Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience
- Surgical orthopedic experience is a PLUS
- Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
