Job Description

Purchasing Management:

  • Manage operations of the process of purchasing and of order placement in compliance with the central/local strategies and priorities and applying the available frame agreements defined at central level.
  • Guarantee the right delivery of materials/services to the plants, always keeping under track the stock level, in order to assure the regular execution of working activities, cooperating with all the functions involved.
  • Collect and issue to the manager the data needed for the periodical reporting.

Supplier Management:

  • Directly negotiate agreements to meet specific local needs
  • Contribute to the process of homologation of the suppliers
  • Participation in the process of researching the local market for competitive suppliers
  • Manage at the local level the relationships with the suppliers, ensuring efficiency, monitoring the purchasing conditions and evaluating the performances of the suppliers (e.g.: Vendor Rating process).

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of Engineering/ Commerce / Business Administration at Alexandria University or AAST.
  • 2 to 5 years of Experience in Purchasing / Procurement / Supply Chain.
  • Diploma or MBA is an advantage.
  • Excellent English Commands both Spoken and Written.
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers and reach a good offer for the company.
  • Ability to work under stress and in a team to reach department objective
  • Alexandria Residence Only.
